Himalayan International Academy (HIA), established in 2021, is an emerging educational institution located in Edogawa, Tokyo, Japan, with convenient access via the JR Sobu Line and the Keisei Line. One of the international school in Japan founded by the Nepalese community and promoting the Nepalese curriculum, HIA plays a pivotal role in promoting cross-cultural understanding and fostering educational exchange, catering to a diverse student body.

Currently, HIA offers a range of educational programs, including early childhood education for kindergarten-aged students and school education through Grade 7. The institution has outlined plans for future expansion, with the introduction of Grade 8 slated for April 2025. 

The school seeks to deliver a high-quality education that prioritizes the holistic development of students. This includes fostering multilingual proficiency, enhancing cognitive skills through STEAM education, promoting values of mutual respect, and encouraging students to critically examine their roles in various contexts.
